I wonder how other people handle the situation when a pt comes in only for an immunization. We are using AC to produce a billing charge though not the new PM. The MA has to enter the immunization into AC so we know it was given and then needs to enter the charge separately. This second step gets forgotten and we end up giving away a lot of immunization. Bad for the bottom line to say the least. When a pt is in for a visit the charge automatically gets added when the immunization is recorded but this is not the case when there is no office visit. Does anyone have any good ideas? This is a flaw in AC IMHO. Thanks.
