Now that I have been doing this for a few weeks, I am an expert (ha), but you can pick and choose who you want to follow, and I think you can block people too--
So you can fine tune things, I have already un-followed a couple of folks that tweeted things not helpful and a lot of, so I think there is a degree of control of what flows to your home box.
