I think this is hugely important. As previously mentioned, we had major issues with missing labs that required a great deal of effort to locate. I should have been able to do this myself, and believe I could if I had full access to the database.
I am of the opinion that it is MY data, not AC's, and I should have unrestricted access to it. I do understand that if I mess it up, the cost and hassle of cleaning it up is on me. But, that's why we have a thing called a "backup."
