The Amazing Utilities test runs between 0.6 and 1.4 seconds. This is mid-day with average performance. Is this fast or slow?
The traffic sniffer would be great. Don't know anyone who has one. Physically what you suggest, Bert, is possible, but I just have a reluctance to start yanking cables around in the dungeon that is our shared server room. Is there any alternate way to do this, like timing the transfer of a large file from the server to a client? Having put an awful lot of effort and $$$ into our hardware and network, not having issues with other database programs sharing the network and not having scrimped anywhere, my emotional reaction is to point to AC, not the network, but clearly I am capable of being a victim of confirmation bias.
