Funny, how this has been like this for over ten years and no one has noticed it. Another use about a week ago brought it up. I thought about putting up a message, but what the hell, it doesn't seem to hurt anything, and it will always be off no matter what you do.
First, the admin has to choose the default server time, which we use GMT. This is the classic for most things and -5 generally gets you the EST. Everyone on the board has to choose what time to offset. Most will do the offset in order to get their timezone. Most people forget DST and Arizona or New Mexico or both don't observer it. If you are not logged in, the offset can't work and so you are on GMT.
I could change it so the past 48 hours are done in relative time. Today at 5 pm 14 hours ago.
