You can set up DID, which is rather cool. It seems as though that would tie up a fax line though, so if the recipient were on the phone for an hour, that line would be down for an hour. I believe this would be the equivalent of a dual fax program where if it is open, the fax comes through, but if a person is using it as a voice line, it doesn't. So, I would think you would require two or three lines.

I am always frustrated by companies which won't give their pricing. If you have to pay a monthly fee or a per fax fee, I wouldn't do it.

The only thing I don't understand is it requires the Zeta Fax Server, which all clients send their faxes to, which in turn is sent to the fax modem or board. I guess I would need to know the advantage of the Zeta Fax Server and its clients rather than just using Windows Fax and Scan and send directly to a fax board on a server since you need clients and a modem/board any way.

There are a lot of neat features. With extra software, you can route your walk up fax machine through the Zeta Server and save on a fax line.

I do think your first question should be what is the advantage of the Zeta Fax Server? I would tell them you have been using Windows Fax and Scan with a Brooktrout Fax Board or a Mainpine Board for two years. I would be very interested to know.

Finally, I looked into How To Buy. You click on how to buy, which takes you to a drop down box for your country. I decided to select United States. I then selected Maine at the next page. My representative was Greg Little. I thought, hey cool, my own rep in the small populace of Maine. I then checked Missouri to see if your state would have more than one rep. Nope, it was Greg Little. I thought, wow, this guy gets around. So, I decided to check New Mexico and California. Yep, Greg Little. Why not just say contact our executive sales manager, Greg Little on pricing?

Finally, if you want help from the board on a company or site, I think it would be helpful to include the URL, such as

http://www.equisys.com/products/zetafax/ To have to Google it, is just one more step.

By the way, they have 60,000 customers. That doesn't sound like much if they list every country in the world. I suppose they don't sell too many in Zimbabwe.

Thanks Bert Looking forward to learning more about it. Learned about it on another list serv for primary care docs who are already using it.
