Update:
After a thorough and careful evaluation, I decided to go with Athena. My staff / office manager diligently followed their "12 weeks implementation roadmap" to implement Athena. Saw many webinars online to get ready. Went "live" two Mondays ago. I hated it. Office staff hated it. Spoke with their Manager and EMR specialist who very candidly told me their EMR was in "it's infancy." I was told Athena EMR was fully customizable, which it is, but only as long as you want to customize it the way they want you to. Essentially I was lied to at the beginning. Lesson learned. I fired them this afternoon. Back to AC. It is so clear that Athena is designed by administrators for administrators. So when is AC's Practice Manager coming out? I need a drink. Taking my office staff out tomorrow as mea culpa.
