To set up Secure Messaging in Updox:
1. Click the Refer & Share button at the top right of the Updox window.
2. Click Send Invitation
3. Provide the other physicians or practice's name and either email or fax number
4. Click Send Invitation
You should receive an acceptance as a Secure Message (gold colored bar identifies this type of message) from the other practice. You may now send fake patient data via Secure Message, and meet criteria for MU 14.
