It is hard to envision Updox without trying it. Take Sandeep's advice and sign up for a trial. As a test, I took a 27 page record from a patient's chart, sent it to Updox and faxed it. That took 4 seconds.
Then I faxed it and emailed it (both to myself, done at the same time). Another 5 seconds.
Granted, the email is not encrypted but that can be done in a variety of ways, including within Updox via the portal.
The fax costs 27 pages towards my Updox fee. The email costs nothing.
As Marty says, you can send it securely to other Updox users at no charge.
