In my neighborhood we have a retail clinic opening up (sponsored by a fp!) and we have a large group buying practices. I have been ok because we are very focussed on service. Open access scheduling since opening, I take my own call, we do house calls and I do my own admits. It's a crazy lifestyle that I will never trade away for more income.
I actually came close last year. 6 weeks vacation (what's that like?), same salary...all very tempting but I felt like I would lose my reason for practicing.
