Well, I always have an opinion.
I don't know about 3rd party lab connections, but I haven't found one program that won't install on WIN 7 Pro 64-bit. They have WOW and install to an x86 folder.
Sure you have to find the right drivers, but most of them are out there. Haven't you had to choose drivers by XP Pro, WIN 98, etc.?
I would DEFINITELY go with 64-bit. You can use as much memory as you want, and it won't be long before you won't be able to find 32-bit drivers.
