My biggest wish on the eRx system is that you could register 2 pharmacies for a patient-- a mail order pharmacy and a local pharmacy. Then you could have programmed both of the patients pharmacies in the system. The eRx system we used to use (RelayHealth) had this feature.

We have a lot of Tricare and Tricare for Life that use the military pharmacies (yes the government really wants us to use e-prescribing??) for chronic meds but use a local pharmacy for acute or non-formulary prescriptions.
Having 2 preferred pharmacies would be great.
Of course they still need to fix the bug that some of our patients have a preferred pharmacy selected but when I write a prescription, nothing is shown (and you can't go back to the demographics page to check)
