There are a number of ways to document in house labs. In my office we do it in the note section (main screen at the bottom.) We have made templates to simplify the process. Others use them as a separate addendum. I am sure there are more ways.
It's somewhat complex to put them in as a tracked item (I think you have to go into the summary sheet R side of the page) but they become granular data and can be tracked. The problem is you have to look harder to find the results, versus it showing up in the chart as an entry.
