So far as I can tell, the "race" box in AC is only useful for "meaningful use". It certainly has no medical significance as things stand now.
If we really want useful genetic data, we will have to do our own genetic histories -- not rely on the color of someone's face, or his/her surname.
Why not just put "white" or "black", depending on the preference of the receptionist, on everyone? Who is going to audit this?
