We are testing out amazing charts in our office and are using v6 as it meets criteria to allow us to show "meaningful use"
I set it up on a test VM with win 2003 r2 64 bit 4gb ram with 2 2ghz cores and I am very surprised at how slowly it runs, especially since this seems to meet the system requirements listed.
Are there people creating test environments using virtual machines? If so what are the specs they are using for these machines and how well does AC perform in this environment?
Additionally, our office uses terminal services and thin clients. How does amazing charts perform in this setting (over terminal services)?
Lastly, I currently have sql server 2000 on our main system (running our current EHR). How will installing AC on this setup affect the full version of SQL server (noting that AC uses SQL Server express 2005)?
