I've had a couple Optiplex mini towers power supplies fail out of warranty. So I've never had the pleasure of dealing with them. I knew it was going to be cheaper for me to order a PSU online and just install it.

How do they get it to you so fast? Do they come deliver it personally or hire some local IT Technician to bring it by on the same day? Like if I were to have a failure at 9AM when the office opens for example. Surely it must depend on location.

It's still probably a good idea to keep one onsite. Swapping out a hard drive is pretty simple.
