I understand that the role of vendors on this forum can be a contentious subject, with legitimate strong feelings on both sides. I can see a place for vendors here and though perhaps Mr. Barris might have something useful to add, I think he went about it in the wrong way. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I would assume that he does not know the forum policy and posted incorrectly. In fact, I don't know where the relevant policy is posted, but I remember a thread where Bert invited a vendor to
post and there was a strong reaction, leading to the creation of a separate vendor forum.
Mr. Barris, I would suggest that you put a brief post about your product in the vendor forum and leave it at that.
While I don't want the board to be full of spam and ads, I would hate to think that we couldn't have learned about products like Updox or Phreesia due to strict policies banning vendors.
