We are trying to scan in current patients as they come in also. If your scanner is not at your front desk, you can assign someone to "scan duty" occassionally and have them start scanning in the "A's", then the "B's". We use a Fujitsu 5110 scanner. Its kindof expensive and it multifeeds. At least mine does.
