I think you can do whatever you want with it - it is like blood glucose testing - you should just standardize where you put it - maybe at end of PMHX or at end of ROS - eg Blood glucose testing 2 x daily for insulin treated or 3 times daily for insulin treated with elevated blood sugars --- that way when you have to provide documentation for medicare you have it in the chart.

You can just type it in the prescriptions but it won't be codified. You can still put it there and it will print a scrip, although a scrip only tells the oxygen company to send the 8.5 x 11 form to you to do over again (don't get me started on the pain of DME scrips - pt. always say 'all I need is a scrip').
