I am coming from the AAP conference and learned a couple of interesting things.
For MEDICAID, which is the dominant government player for Pediatrics, they will only reimburse you for costs. Although you could theoretically get 63K of reimbursement for >30% of your population being medicaid, they will only reimburse costs you have put out. Apparently this is NOT the case for MEDICARE.
Meeting the standards for Meaningful use will probably not be very difficult, although many of the optional standards do not apply to Pediatrics.
