See the thread on prescription entry. We are still setting it up, but there is a place in administration to put a scanned signature, and it seems that allows Schedule III-V meds to be faxed with a signature without first printing.
BTW, we are told by our pharmacies that even with electronic prescriptions, they have to print them out. Our only issues with faxed scripts vs. e-prescribe have been mechanical... their fax runs out of paper, gets overloaded, faxes get lost.
