Had a patient with a lesion that I thought was an abscess, but after I&D found that it was not. Packed wound with iodoform gauze and thought we could close with steristrips, but no luck.
Had to do a few stitches. Is there a cpt I can use for this second closure? Maybe it's part of a "global period".
