and a very burnt out cord on the vacuum cleaner
and a very QUIET server!!
A Happy ending provided by Battery Backup and Server 2008 which was able to power down and do no damage allowing PEACE TRANQUILLITY AND PROSPERITY TO RETURN TO DOWNEY with the simple flip of a breaker!
So the ACE cleaning crew pulled the plug on the vacuum by yanking it out of a wall socket causing it to short out and trip the breaker which turned off the phones, modem, switch and server. The battery backups did what they were designed to do and when I got here this AM and heard the alarms! I was delighted to figure out what happened, flip the breaker, push the button on the server and EVERYTHING CAME UP with out a glitch. AWESOME
