Is it the vista home machine that won't work ? I have run into an issue of Vista machines not connecting to the network on more than one occasion.

Did you uninstall the version of AC you just installed and then re-install the version 4.060 ? You would need to do that and then use the restore function of the backup you made.

Have you tried pinging/leaving a voice mail for guardian support - they often come on even when they are closed and return emergency calls - need to make it clear that you can't get your program up and running).
