A path is a path whether it is over the network as in \\Server\Amazing Charts\ or local as in C:\Program Files\Amazing Charts.
Granted the network share has more variables, but either can be broken.
This is probably just stupid, but try mapping the local drive. Why it would work I have no idea, but may as well give it a shot.
