I haven't seen a recent thread for INR/coumadin management, some threads go back to 2009 and most recent are posted a year ago. Are there any new or improved ways of managing coumadin/INR's in AC's out there?

We're still using an Excel spreadsheet in imported items. I have not heard of a more native way of doing it.

Using tracked items. INR fits well. COUMADIN DOSE less well as usually not single number (although i have thought of daily average or weekly total for tracking). I put in dose and when to recheck eg 3MF, 4 others, recheck 2 w.

Where do you put in the dose and when to recheck it? Does this go to nurse in a message?

Do all at the visit. MA does INR and puts in tracked items. I see patient and put dose and recheck eg three weeks in tracked items.

I can't find a place in "tracked items" where to actually type my instructions to the staff. I found where to put the INR result, just not anything else. Thanks,

Make new item called "coumadin dose".
