I'm a new user and interested in a seamless, affordable solution to receive billing and demographic information from AC so that the accounts receiveables can be worked efficiently.
If you love the product you use, please share the name of it with me. Thanks

Love way too strong a word. Does it work for me? Yes. Medi soft and Xlink data to AC.

I use Emedware by Sage, this is used in our office for scheduling and billing. It however has no interface with AC. Charges are entered manually. I was very inexpensive, we have only a small monthly clearing house fee.

We just got TotalMD. It's very affordable and it does use HL7 link with AC. AC info goes into TotalMD every 15 seconds. However, I didn't realize until after we bought it that TotalMD info does not automatically import into AC. You have to do a manual import (press CTRL+F11) in AC. I guess we'll live with it. The TotalMD scheduler looks a lot nicer than AC and I think we'll like that portion of it.
We haven't actually used TotalMD to send electronic claims yet - just got started with GatewayEDI and they're unresponsive right now since they're overwhelmed with 5010 stuff. sigh.
